Default New Towns in Tyria

I would like to see a new area open up in Tyria since that is my favorite place to be. There is still so much area that is not searchable. Even a town that is very remote and does not affect story and is not listed in the map. Its a place that ppl have to run to each time they want to get there. Perhaps it could be hard like snake dance also maybe have an outlet to fight a Litch King or some creature that is the hardest of the hard and for all intensive purposes unbeatable the reward could be a dance or emote.

really I just want a new town to hang out in.

New towns and outposts? Meh...

If Anet was going to add new outposts/places to go/things to do, then I'd rather them do something such as add challenge and elite missions. Just to let you know, I think the map icon used for Zaishen Challenge/Elite would be perfectly suitable for the Tyrian Challenge missions.

But my idea is not yours (although feel free to make one and sign it for me), so I will say /notsigned

Isn't Sorrow's Furnace considered the "Elite Mission" of Tyria? With those mobs and tightly-packed patrols I sure thought it was during my bide to cap Evicerate.

Well, I guess you could say that... it has all the features of them except for the 12-man party size, the 'uber' boss at the end, and the room effects (not sure of these are in NF, I'm just going by what I have seen in the deep and what I have read of urgoz warren). I wouldn't call it one officially though because I henched all those quests quite easily except for Final Assault (Damn that's hard with henchies (I did get Gardock's Staff though, which I sold for 15k)). Seriously though, I'd like an Elite Mission that starts at Ascalon City, where you have to basically fight horde after horde of lvl 30 monsters (remember the party size). I mean that first you fight uber powerful charr, then uber powerful stone summit, then uber powerful undead, etc.

Ah right, I forgot that henches can get in on Sorrows.

I do like the ascalon idea, but mobs of lvl30 would be like fighting Shiro and Lich over and over again. I would much prefer a Mursaat Raid at either (I loved this idea) Ascalon or the Crystal Desert where you gotta mow down a Mursaat insurgent. I know it's the same idea but the Mursaat seem to be more interesting after Lich's wtfPlotTwist and also fighting every species just seems to be rather armaggedon-ish.

I know what you mean, but I don't think it would be like fighting Shiro or the Lick over and over again. A good monk can support 7 other people plus him/herself. Therefore 2 good monks, perhaps 3 if it's hard, leaves 9-10 people for DPS. If all these monsters are using normal skills, not special skills like Shiro and the Lich does, lvl 30 actually isn't that high.

Also, about my elite mission idea, when you finished/beat/whatever a room, i.e you're finshed with all the charr spawns, it wouldn't just stop for a min and then stone summit start coming - during some of the last few charr spawns some stone summit come along aswell. I'm not sure if that made too much sense but it's getting late and I really can't be bothered.

Maybe we should get our own thread for this instead of filling up this other guy/gals thread...
